Often or not, you find yourself busy with homework, tests or all of the above. Do you find yourself inching closer to the due date, with less and less time remaining? Because if that's you, then you're not alone!
I think it's important to recognize that time is valuable, especially when we need it the most. I found it very important over the years of my college journey to manage my time, and manage it properly. It's true that as college students, we tend to procrastinate, but there is a cost for that, your grades. Grades are important, and as much as we don't want to think about it, studying is important, and it's something that we should make time for. When you don't make the time for your career, you will find yourself lost on that big test day, and those are days that can make or break you. Failing exams you could have done better on is hard to deal with. The train ride back home will be dark and gloomy, but it doesn't have to be! Find the maturity to be responsible about your college career, because having skills now, such as time management, will make you more adaptable in the future. How you study, work, eat, sleep, is all a must when it comes to your future.
College is 4 years long, but it's all about the new experiences that come with living on your own, commuting, dorming, experiences, but most importantly, getting your degree. The most important thing to note is that you are you, and you will probably procrastinate, but there's no reason to never try to make changes in your life. Start with your schedule, can you wake up on time, eat right, go to sleep on time, give yourself a chance to succeed? These are changes that you have to believe, and in order to achieve, you have to make the results possible! You will not be able to make the changes overnight, because your habits from the days before never leave, but you can do it!
It's up to you to push yourself, mold yourself, and make the best version of yourself, but first, make the time.
